It is raining in Gundungurra Ngurra Bowral. There: a whipbird calling, plum middle of her grassed suburb, moving through the fenced lines in this softer seasonal change. Water and whipbirds are best friends.
The 2024 teaching year is away. Time to take another breath. Re-call. To place in the here and now, and ahead, just out of sight. Gathering what is, will be, might become in happy, undisciplined, ecocritical praxis. There are many artful ways. Many seeds planted. New im/material flourishings.
