The best pots are poems, which, as Paul Celan says, are always only ‘scores’.
A poem is always a translation into words, and its reading, another possible translation. Poems are multivalent becomings. As Celan knows, there can never be a singular, definitive meaning eked out of a poem. There can never be an ‘absolute poem’.
